Empty SPeach

NO bid contracts make the rounds again, this time Gulf Coast, same faces HALIBURTON, BECTHEL maybe Hal wont rip us off again?

TAX PAYERS will pay for gulf coast resurrection, $200 B and counting in IRAQ, deaths mounting faster than ever. $200B or MORE price tag for Katrina, these are not in the budget I mean deficits, where will the money come from? Will other gov spending be averted? Base closings to save $4B, looks now like drop in bucket.

Speach was effort at face savings, Bush made liberal statements, this is anything but a Conservative Pres.

The world had never seen such an undertaking, on many levels.

Bush core support is crumbling, SS DOA, IRAQ a lie and a shambles US foreign policy.

We're spread TOO thin, and rely of foreigners

to fund our every need,

We need a leader to come forward, Bush polls at a low tide. A NO confidence vote, words don't get the job done.

He said he would have gov officials going around making sure money was spent properly.....even DICK insider couldnt stop HAL from OVERBILLING US....we NEED them

I see a lot of thieves ready to loot, I see a lot of good poor Americans that need more than lip service and a politician baby kissing pandering to racial inequality when all anyone needs is a level playing field, a hand up...not a hand out.

As the world turns darker, we are going to need each other more and more.

I think the words were clear as could be, Clinton and any leader in the pass would have said about the same.

What would or should one said at times like these? Hindsight is only for those that know right?

In fact I believe it was the local government that fail, looking at the size of the storm in the 1st place.

New Orleans was once in Clinton’s time, call the murder city, what else should one expect in all the mayhem.

How much should we give? Its OK not to give any at all, for the government yours and mine will make sure you give your fair share. Taxes are a great thing in times like this. What happen to all the 25K body bags that where bought, does the government get to send then back? Or is yellow journalism for the poor only?

The Government response was happening in no more than 100 hours just about the time needed to get the states NG together. No more than average.

Its interesting how the media was all over suggesting they were there before the Government was, only thing it’s a lot different to be ‘just there’ and to actually doing something to help. It’s not the same, as many 1st responders know. You do not want to be responding to those that are supposed to be helping in the 1st place.

P.S. Regan was far from be a Conservative as many think, in fact he is the one that started the bull market in US debt, I think a chart is posted somewhere at this site.

The define ‘Conserative or Repuliblcan’ is an oxymoran word today.

I think P.Q Wall sounds like he is drinking sometimes, don’t you??

LOL :)

NO we'll pay as we always do, but Bush is going to alienate his base with recent racist comments, and he is NOT conservative as outspending Clinton by a mile. They ALL like to spend.

Reagan indeed set up the 80's Bull, or was it VOLKER with his BOLD action and taming of inflation? but now we only fan the flames.

Normally pro Bush talk show commentators were NOT impressed.
Its EASY to buy off the people with spending.

Hey I didn't think any one was there. Glad to see I not typing for my health.

LOL

Just trying to find my way around here, and thanks for your comments and the site.

I think if we updated the debt chart here (from 12/12/2002) it has to be much higher now.

I get a funny feeling about things now, I don’t know about you, we shall see any way.

911 stuff, only the NY/NJ cares about that stuff, the rest of the country I think, thinks NY/NJ is in another country any way.

LOL :)

I think the trin is interesting here; the last 9 days counting today only 2 trading days are over 1.00.

During 6/08/2005 to 6/20/2005 were 7 consecutive trading days under 1.00, this time fame was a record setting area.

You are ASTUTE, thanks for bringing this to my attention. IMHO a very LOW TRIN is begging for a strong correction.
