What is the significance of this chart?

Why is it important to have a date when fed BEGAN easing?

That shows you that FED policy initiated during that time directly effected the price of cooper (commodities) and is causing worlwide inflation....there is a cause and effect here.

But have trouble understanding I am newer at this.

Please explain dates and what fed did, and what copper did, so I make sure I get it.

Those are the time frames the FED began Quantitative Easing, and other stimulative measures, that coincides with the rise in commodities. But there is also other reasons, including HOARDING of raw materials and increased demand
