No 2010 increase in Social Security

Seniors' benefits will not be adjusted for cost of living because of low consumer prices. But Obama urges Congress to send $250 emergency payments.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- There will be no cost-of-living increase in Social Security benefits for 2010 because consumer prices have fallen over the past year, the Social Security Administration announced on Thursday.

It marks the first time that Social Security benefits have not been increased year over year since the cost-of-living adjustment was put into effect in 1975.

Thanks Chris. I keep in contact with some excellent traders, and we share technical analysis...I am looking for a top of some kind, maybe short term. It is very one sided bullish right now, almost it seems they all feel higher prices a guarantee...but to your point, I am sad for seniors loss of 401K money and benefits
